A proud U.S. Navy veteran, Angus began his career as a Development Engineer at Hughes Aircraft, contributing to the Star Wars program, before founding an engineering testing laboratory in California.
In the 1990s, Angus co-founded San Diego’s first Internet Access and Web Development company, setting the stage for digital innovation in the region. Furthermore, he provided consulting services for the Nevada State Gaming Commission and designed the world’s first Virtual Free Trade Zone in Portugal, showcasing a strong entrepreneurial spirit.
With extensive expertise in telecom and wireless technologies, Angus founded CableTel S.A. in Lisbon and played a pivotal role in spinning off Winova Wireless, one of the early adopters of WiFi and WiMAX. This initiative served major universities across the UK, marking a significant advancement in wireless communications.
Angus has been instrumental in the realm of electric vehicle infrastructure. He have advised the Greater London Authority on EV adoption, supported automakers in the development of EV charging solutions, and founded Evoasys, a company that delivered over 200,000 Quick Charges in California over a span of 12 years.
